O.K. did the plenum test and really couldn't feel anything out the oil fill hole. Couldn't feel suction or blowing.
Then i went to compression test. Here's the results

1= 135
2=100
3=120
4=130
5=120
6=120
7=110
8=110
Good or bad or average? Also i noticed today while riding in it that transmission shifts are barely noticable. Meaning can really feel it and not much engine rev change? Don't know if maybe the power loss feeling could be tranny related?

Is the trans slipping?

Compression numbers are merely "OK". 2 is approaching the 'fail' point though. (100 being minimum recommended spec.) Wonder why 1 is in so much better condition.... That just seems odd. (but, probably valve related....)

They were pretty much like that from the factory. You can try tightening up the TV cable a notch or two, and see if that improves anything. (also tends to raise shift points though.)

Gonna try and flush the tranny and change filter and fluid. Guy told me tranny was built 50000 miles ago. Fluid looks a little on the dark side to clear. with a little fine black powder look to it. The shifter inside is tricky to get set in the right position so maybe it be a linkage problem also.
