1995 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L 4x4
One of the little metal pieces I'm the middle broke in half I'm trying to but I have a Trans cool sensor there but no place to plug in it like they had it in there but guy before me got a new transmission and this one doesn't come with it
The connector will be there, but, if you don't have the tow, heavy duty, or maybe the plow package, you won't have the sensor. Changing the trans wouldn't get rid of it in any event, as it actually screws on to a fitting that's on the trans cooler line at the front of the trans.
Ok so I cut of and cleand the connector and the OD light turns off and on again but the truck idle right above the line before 1000 rpm left it sitting for a minute and sounds like it want to stall again dropped 100-150 rpm and the code 37 keeps popping up can the Clutch solenoid make it stall like this or might be a different issue? Mayr firing order the other guy had wrong I did it exactly like he did and replaced the wire but all are 7mm wire this is a 8 mm dot know if that makes a difference in it but want to know if I should get solenoid cause I don't want to waste money where it's not needed thanks for all the help so far...
TCC malfunction will either have no affect at all, or kill the engine just like dumping the clutch in a manual trans.
Since it won't start, I am going to guess you don't know if everything works yet.....
So what's missing? Fuel? Or spark?

I got it to start put in reverse to move out of the way of my bro garage and less then 10 feet stalled completely I'm think fuel pump cause I changed all sparks and got new wires it's either the TCC or fuel pump has to be code 37 comes up the TCC and the fuel pump when I checked earlier has black Eletrical tape all over the cap I'm just faustred paid 5 for it already put 4 into it and broke and still have at least 300 worth of parts to get
Well, once it's running, it will still be worth more than you have in it...... Probably won't last long on an old truck, but, that's pretty much the way it goes. I have way more invested in my truck than I will ever get back out of it, so, I will just drive it till the wheels fall off, bolt 'em back on, and drive it some more.
