Transfer case 4x4 vacuum lines
Oh, well either way it's not there lol so I figured I'd get a new one since I'm messing with everything down there.
Metal line probably used to have just a cap on it, so it was vented, but, was less likely to suck water. It didn't hook to anything. Line was just hung out of the way somewhere. (likely had a bracket that bolted to one of the bellhousing bolts.)
On the rest, yep, should work just fine.

I replaced my transfer case and while I was disconnecting the vacuum lines I noticed a line that was in my way. I removed it and set it aside. Once I got the new transfer case (3 weeks later) I went to installing it. I got the vacuum lines that run to the CAD on the 4 prong switch installed and the other hose that was tied to the 4 lines on the vent on the transfer case. After I completely installed everything I noticed the line I took out and completely forgot where it went to or how it attached. It says on the line Transfer Case Vent 5/16 185192634. It has a red clamp on one side and a metal hard pipe on the other with a hangar next to the metal pipe. Any help would be appreciated
Vent line went from transfer case switch, up behind the motor. It's just a vent, so, it doesn't connect to anything on the upper end, just secured in place wherever you can find a good spot.
Just got everything installed and checked all the vacuum lines made sure they were on good. Now my truck won’t shift into drive or reverse. Also when I shift into park it makes a groaning noise. I made sure the transmission fluid was topped off. I’m at a loss here
