I have seen on here that one of the guys did the big block swap to his 2gen, I have a few wiring questions for him. I cant seem to locate his name or thread.
I know a few folks have thought about doing a big block swap, but, I am not aware of any threads on here (since I have been here...) where we see one start to finish, that actually GETS finished.
Folks have done it...... Just no one here that I am aware of.
Here is one thread. I am not really coming up with any others where they actually DO the swap.
That's gonna be fun.... In more than one sense of the word..... Chances are good, all of your instruments are driven by the PCM, thru the central timer module. It's entirely possible NONE of your gauges will work with the 440.......

I have been going through and tracing each guage to see what does not go through the pcm. If the cluster doesnt work i was thinking of replacing the individual guage.
I *think* oil pressure is the only one that doesn't go thru the PCM. (PCM really doesn't care about oil pressure..... which I find kinda odd.....) Everything else pretty much goes thru the CTM. Do you have a copy of the service manual yet? If not, grab one here.
