Belt tensioner??
Pulled my alternator today (pain in my Burt didn't have a 9/32 socket for the tiny bolts on the back)
Got everything unbolted and didn't mess with the tensioner, spun it by hand and it sounds kinda rough so I was going to replace the bearings and pully, when I went to unbolt the pully the whole tensioner moved but never moved back. Should I just replace the whole piece? (it's like 60 bucks)
Or is it supposed to be like that

**** on it I'll replace it, should I go ahead and do the external regulator while I'm doing stuff? Lol
Are you having a voltage issue? The voltage is controlled through the PCM, I believe.
Pcm does control it, but I've heard it goes out

Preventitive maintenance. lol. But money I can spend on something else the truck needs
Still haven't figured out what that plug goes into. Maybe it goes to a brake controller?
