Default Motor swap help needed

Alright fellas my old 97 318 failed me, so I found a wrecked 2000 ram with the same engine. My ? Is my intake calls for 2 temp sensors, and the 2000 doesn't. I'm wanting to use the intake of the newer truck. Is this possible? Is there one of those sensors I don't need? Thanks in advance

He needs two for his 97 pcm to work. 2000 only has one.

There isn't much difference between the two intakes..... could always do the kegger mod to your 97 manifold, then there wouldn't be any difference at all. (I think center divider is the main difference in any event. Fair bit of debate on just why it was omitted.)

Can I swap the PCM of the other truck? Or is that a whole mother can of worms?

Keep the 97 pcm. Use the old sensors too if none are busted. Remove crank sensor before installing 360 has they like to get broken moving around when it's on the lift.

Whole other can of worms because then you gotta deal with transmission and speed sensor too
