If you wanted to go to all that trouble, just drop a Hemi into it. Less work.
There's no mounts to fan, driveshafts ya, as for the wiring just a few adapters are needed. Like I said, its almost a direct swap. Don't speak of which you don't know. Its the same work and probably even less work then a hemi, and you still get a better engine then the hemi.

Well show me the adapters then? If that's easy you should be able to pull up a page basically telling us how to do this.

Not that I ever will......

Don't need adapters either.

Mind you this is for a first gen Dakota, so imagine how.much easier it is in a full size truck.

I'm thinking you're on the wrong forum.

EDIT: Yep, I just checked. It say Dodge Forum, not Gay *** LS1 forum.

The mounts need adapters. So, yes, there IS some fab work involved.

On the 97 and older trucks, sure, it wouldn't be that bad. However, on the 98 and newer trucks, ALL the gauges, including the friggin' gas gauge, go thru the CTM, which GM does NOT use, so, no gauges.....

I suggest you take some of your own advice.
