Mine has 3.55 gears front and rear. Crappy fuel mileage , I do a lot of highway driving and no hauling/pulling trailers yet, would 4.11 be better or what ???
I need to replace axle seals soon and might as well do gears while its apart.
I'm betting the 3.55 was stock, and some previous owner re-geared. Yeah, not a cheap endeavor. Since you only need to do one end, stick with the 4.10/4.11, whatever. MUCH better gearing for a truck.

Yeah I'm confused with why the ring says 4.11 haha anyways yeah I'm thinking its easier to change the gearing in the rear since I've done it once already lol
Also I don't think it'll change the answer you gave but my truck is lifted 6" and 35" tires
Yep. That makes it even MORE likely that the previous owner re-geared. I am surprised he didn't go to 4.56 though.... Oh well. Re-gear the rear to 4.10, and be happy.
