00 1500 tranny removal cant get it out

well that be the one I missing but I lowered tranny as low as I can at moment and didn't see a bolt top middle where the distrubtor is...
ill have to re check tomorrow as I couldn't see one laying under there
as I getting tired and frustrated with truck
in Canada tooo much rust and replacing bolts with SS bolts like exhaust so wont be hard to take apart if u gotta

To get that bolt, I use a SAE 9/16" 3/8" drive impact swivel socket with a long 3/8" extension - here is a sample of the sockets - https://www.harborfreight.com/7-pc-3...set-67929.html

I tried to get those sockets cant get them sigh... guess only snap on


so that bolt is up and the top do you get it from the bottom or the top... as I tried to look up I didn't see it... but ill try to reach again. as to get the 4 bolts I did get out I made 4 foot extension frigin tight fits I tell ya

Harbor Freight sells those swivel sockets and I'm sure they will ship to Canada. Anyway, you can likely also get it from the top with a combo wrench, some patience and a few choice words.

I cut the one cross member backet off and lowered the tranny and engine more but there is no top bolt that I can see nothing up there

so you can see no middle bolt where is the 7th bolt for this truck why wont it break loose off these 2 pins for lining up i guess i frustrated

I got it out yeaaah although found part on floor dunno where it goes ill post pic later
but this only has 6 bolts

I used tension on tranny with my backhoe and I heated that line up pin on the passenger side with the aceletne torch and it yank off

In the photo, it looked like one upper bolt was still in the transmission case on the left side where a bracket also was. That had to come out.

ah ok...
so what I did was uses the acetylene torch and was heating that pin and she separated... and I just was cranking on the come along and boom I heard her come out and hit the floors least its out

there is this bracket but not at home to upload a pic but now the hard part after they look at it the transmission place... putting this beotch back up as I wasn't able to get the 4x4 arm off either so it was still attached

Check that left upper bolt hole on the transmission case closely. Hope you didn't crack the transmission case by not removing that last upper bolt on the left side.
