all good I do appreciate all the help

next question is it worth repairing myself like the seal is leaking pump seal as it leaks in gear and neutral..

but I seen you can buy rebuild kits whole bunch of o rings and some big rings etc... is it worth doing a rebuild kit and is it worth doing on my own or send it to mr transmission as I mechanically inclined I just don't know if you need special tools etc

Need a press for the big spring in the O/D unit. Aside from that, I think basic hand tools, and some precision measuring equipment will suffice.

ah ok cool
so is it worth rebuilding it if isn't sleeping
only thing it does
is right now it pissies out oil when its in park or neutral
and if it sits for a while it doesn't move when you stomp on gas but if you do forward backwards a couple times with the shifter then she move fine was told frome friend oil just falling back down pump need new filter

but then was told could be a line inside that's leaking in tranny how do you know/?

here is a video as I was told it could be just a seal how do I test if its a line that's leaking inside? or its just a seal or what do I all need

here is the video I took

Sure doesn't look like its leaking out that seal.

Any idea where it was coming from?

it was leaking where you have that cover plate that you need to take starter out... it wouldn't leak if engine running but would leak when you put in gear or neutral

here is video when I had tranny in truck and I put it in drive you see it leaking out the bottom

is there a way to test it now to see where it leaks?

I suspect the leak is coming from the front pump seal. You may also have wear on the bushing in the pump that the converter hub rides on, too. Check the condition of the converter hub - it should be smooth in the area that the seal rides on the hub.

ah ok so the pump seal is that outside seal I send in the video? and if the bushing is bad can it be replaced? what else do I need to replace other then the seal? does that plate have to come off? that the seal sits in..

and if the coverter is scratched how do you fix that?

ill check in and hour and ill get back to you
