Pan looks pretty normal. I expect to see some fine metal shavings in there. It's the chunky stuff that indicates a BAD problem.

$101 from dodge and still has to be ordered damn
and a 064-8 is a 46RE tranny correct as I might as well order online to send to Canada

Don't know about the code, but, yeah, your truck came with the 46RE.

I asked mister transmission for a price and they said if the seal slides in there now I need the pump housing like geesh so much for a new one pressing in??

How easy was it to remove the old seal? Was it still nice and tight in there?

no wasn't tight tight
but since no one commented on my video I posted I assumed I just needed a kit

goto #46 post you see my pump video and me removing the bushing

then you can tell me

Ok, so, the bushing came out easier than it really should have, however, it looks pretty thrashed on the inside there...... The pump housing really doesn't look like it was damaged though? Think I would see how much effort is required to put the new bushing in, and take it from there.

Edit: Keep in mind, I am NOT a trans tech by any stretch of the imagination.

Same here. I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express (smile) - seriously though, if it were me, I'd try to purchase the kit and see if you can knock in the new bushing with a block of wood and a hammer

ok ill probably try to get it online as if its only like 25 bucks considering 101 plus 13% tax to get it from dodge here just to find out it didn't work lol


I going to take it also take it to mister transmission maybe they can see if its worn out too much would you think they could tell..


ya since that piece of metal is not worth 500 bucks like frig get me a mold ill pour my own steel lol

mister transmission said not worth it.. said he can get one for 250 a used one


ill think about it etc


but another question I got the cardon ball kit thing... comes with that dirt cover.. which way does it go


I'm guessing the flat side faces out
