Then good thing the press I have can go upwards of 10 tons. There always is the 300 ton press we have for stamping parts in the back lol. My day job is a machinist at a tool and die shop.

That helps a LOT. You need a kinda sorta special tool to be able to compress it, and get the snap ring out. Given where you work, you can prolly make one for MUCH cheaper than what they cost.
