Yeah, the OBDI trucks had EGR, the center divider went away in 98, or 99.

Are you using any special grade aluminum for the fan spacer or just what's cheapest?

I had to replace my 95 ram plenum gasket twice. I found the plenum bolts were loose. so I replaced with new bolts and used blue Loctite on the bolts. no problems so far so far with plenum.

I deleted the egr on the intake I swapped in. The aluminum is .055. My dad worked for an aluminum plant. It was a scrap sut off a coil. You could use something thicker but there's really no need and it would make it harder to cut. As for the plenum I used the Hughes kit and also used blue loctite on the new bolts.

Need so advance guys. I'm replacing my steering box. The new borgeson box. It has what looks like atf in it now. It's red. I'm using the factory pump and replacing the hoses. What fluid should I use? I can get power steering fluid from the parts store that list the correct fluid for our trucks. But the box has red in it.

Use what the folks that made the box suggest. The pump doesn't really care.

the directions with the gear box says to run what the factory calls for. I just find it weird that the fluid in the box is red. To my knowledge ps fluid is clear. Unless they make red.

Likely trans fluid in the pump. I don't recall what the factory suggests, I personally use PS fluid, and yes, it is clear.
