well its time to close this thread credit goes to https://dodgeforum.com/forum/members...keptic68w.html for starting the thread "P0132/P0138, Intermittent Rough Idle" 4 years ago and to https://dodgeforum.com/forum/members...dgedude84.html for resurrecting the thread and sharing his story.
it turns out the ground for my O2 sensors had the slightest of connections ( see photos) anyway there were 4 wires spliced into 1 connection that appear to be from the data link connector and the PCM those had a "connnection" the issue was the ground coming from the sensors was poorly wrapped around those 4 wires and it was all smashed together into one connector so THANKS DODGE?? while tackling this issue i went ahead and put new connectors on all my grounds and cleaned up the mounting points in the hopes of coming across this issue and OF COURSE this was the last ground on the list. anyone wanna tell me why this can never happen the other direction?Talking

I spent 5 years in upstate NY/Syracuse. Rembrandt, my '96 Ram 1500 started having little nitnoid problems about a year later after I got back to Texas. Sure enough, my grounds were rusting. 'Ol Kermit Kilmer, of youtube fame, spoke of such things. Luckily, n it looks just like my connector, had that exact problem, not to mention, the ground junction, buried in a plastic covering, up high, just behind the battery. It was corroded as well, n cause of 'ol Kermy, I was able to discover the problem kwik.
