I recently checked the front diff actuator vac because I couldn’t engage the 4x4 on my 2001 3500 dually and I discovered that the actuator switch wasn’t connected anywhere. He’s connected to the switch but not the other side and I can’t find the plug where it should be connected. Of course, no 4x4 light on the dash.
Thank you in advance for your help. Vince
I'm confused. The switch is plugged in? Or is not?
the switch is not connected, the plug is in on the switch but the wire plug hanging loose at the opposite end, he’s not plugged to anything. I really don’t know where it should be connected.

Reason: Misspelling
The wires from that connector should disappear into the harness right above the cad unit, no connector on the other end......
It looks like the Grey wire should be hot with ignition on.
Thanks, but that is not the case here, from the connector on the actuator switch there is two wire coming out, one black and one black with a grey stripe . They running to another connector with three prongs inside, I need to find where this connector should be plugged in.

You should find the other end of that plug almost straight forward of the CAD, clipped to the radiator support... Or somewhere in that area. If you pull those wires you're holding forward you should find it. I'll try to remember to get a picture of mine for you tomorrow (Friday).

Thanks Frankie, much appreciated. Friday? Ooh! ok, I’m in Australia and we are Friday already. Thanks mate. 😉
Thank you so much for your time and the photos, appreciated very much. That is awesome! I honestly didn’t think it would be located in this area. I would have thought more likely in the harness near the transfer case or in this area. Anyway thanks again.
Cheers mate.
