Default Dual battery set-up

I've started on my dual battery setup. Found a passenger side battery tray out of a diesel, bolted right up, although I had to add a couple of bolts. I have an isolator on order and a fuse block. The idea is to run my constant drain items(I work out of my truck) off the 2nd battery(12V cooler, inverter, winch, phone chargers etc) so that the main battery is always available to start the truck even if I drain the 2nd. I did have to relocate an evap system valve, and I will make that neater later in the process, right now it's just been shifted over to clear the tray. No pics yet. Cables will be run over the radiator shroud, uncased in 1" heater hose to protect them.

I have mine setup to have 2 auxillary and one main. The min charges first then charges the other two. Then if needed I can bridge all 3 together to start my truck.

Being able to jump start myself is an added bonus. By using an isolator I believe I can actually run a standard battery and a deep cycle.

Should be able to as I have the standard battery and two deep cells.

I appreciate the thought.

I was rather surprised when I found it on my desk, it was a LOT lighter than I thought it should be. Smaller too..... since I couldn't feel anything in there. Mainly because there WASN'T anything in there. Not even a receipt...... It was supposed to be a belt tension gauge..... (I am seriously tired of my mower deck eating bearings and belts. This is a 'last gasp' effort to have them last longer than half a season..... and it's just a guess at that.....)
