I turned one of my Barb's in the farm into a 40 bay garage (20 in each side) plus if I need to I'll put a lift in each bay then I can hold 80

Default Changing axle seal

Well got the outer axle and intermediate axle pulled along with the wheel bearing. Now I have to think of a redneck way to drive the seal out and seat it back in. I'm honestly thinking of using beer cans to drive it out, still have to think of the way to seat it back in. Looking at the last pic on the outer axle there is something that looks broke. Anyone know what it is and if it's needed? It's right where the nipple from the intermediate shaft goes into the outer axle
shaft. The 2nd pic you can see some gunk that came out just by dragging the intermediate shaft out. Don't mind the LED light I took from work thing I'd bright as heck

Looks like some galling on the end of the axle there..... That 'shouldn't' be a load-bearing surface though......

I don't think it will hurt anything but wanted to be sure! Now if only they sold the dust caps that go on the end of the outer axle to keep the dirt out 😂

Well got a surprise today! Uh oh spagettios, I didn't know it was Christmas already

Also do you know what they use to seal the drain plugs? I tried rtv and it didn't hold...
