Ah, but, the duration at .050 does indeed change. True, it's probably 5 to 10 degrees max..... but, still an effective change. Because of the increased ratio, the valve will get to .050 lift sooner than with stock ratio rockers.
But, that's just techno-babble. The fact that it actually WORKS, is what is important. In all reality, it's a pretty good 'bang for the buck' deal. I think the same member get another 10hp from his tuner, running the 87 octane tune, but, only 3-4 torque increase. (but, any increase is good, right. )
