Default My engine/cluster run after ignition turned OFF

I have a 2000 RAM 1500 pickup Quad Cab sb w/ 5.2. I had a wierd problem start today. I pulled up to a job site and turned my truck off. I got out and still heard my engine running, but my keys were in my hand. All of my gauges were also ON. I got back in and cycled through the key positions (obviously avoiding "START") and after a few tries it shut off. This happened again when I got back to my shop and then again at home. I just installed a new 46re trans after my truck sat on jack stands for a month. I live in GA where 10% ethanol is legal max in fueI and had a full charge put on my battery 3 days ago (it died waiting on trans to be delivered). Any Ideas? Thanks in advance!

I replaced both my ignition switch and my lock cylinder today with no success. What else could this be? It's maddening!!

Maybe a relay sticking? But, turning off the ignition switch *should* deprive the PCM of power....... maybe check wiring harnesses that pass behind the engine. Maybe something got pinched.

relays that make things go are all under the hood. Just a couple circuit breakers in the fuse block in the cab.

Swap the ASD relay, and the horn relay. See if anything changes.

I swapped the relays and no change. I swapped the relays back and reinstalled my factory lock cyl. and ignition switch. Now, for some reason, everything is working fine except for flashing on and off Parking Brake light on cluster (which has happened for years). What should I make of that?? lol

The light comes on when the ABS light is on it when the emergency brake is pressed. The switch is case ground, if you bumped the pedal I always pull the release and use my foot to pull the pedal completely up.
