Default Potential Truck

So I ended up having to sell my old dodge in the signature, it was gonna get impounded if I didn't move it, and I didn't have the money for a tow, so I traded it for another truck. It was a K10, but I hated it, sold it. I've been saving for a little bit and I'm looking at getting another Second Gen. I found a decent Cummins that I'm interested in but I'd like some advice on it, if you guys might have any input about it. I'll post the link at the bottom. I've asked a few questions, the dash is cracked (duh), the transmission was done at a shop close by 4,000 miles ago, it has a clean title, it is set up for a tune but he never got around to it, and it has a clean title. It has some rust on the bumper, on the rockers, little on the door I think. I'm going to look at it possibly this weekend or the next. It has newer fuel pumps, line, injectors, and intake as well. He has had it for five years now. Let me know of any other questions I should ask about it, or if this is in the wrong section, and I need to be on a diesel page? I'm not sure. I'm not a diesel guy, but I know they are reliable, which is what I need. Unless I find a 360 with a 5-speed around here, I'm looking at one of those as well, it'll be the second link. That one is a 318, but I like it, not for that price though.

Thank you

Thank you
The two Cummins I owned weren't reliable lol but it probably was a fluke. I actually did a gasser swap on my current Cummins truck. Just remember the parts for the engine see usually expensive from my experience.

I would buy the Cummins for 5 grand. Heck, offer 6. Then drive it to Seattle and sell it for 15k. I **** you not. Anything Cummins goes for gold out here. It's so stupid. Most clean 2nd gens are at least 20k or more. They are still appreciating.

The 5spd 318 is a no brainer. Of course, I'm biased. Get that for maybe 3k. No trans headaches and simple to maintain. There's no sticks left in the truck world so might as well get one while you can.

Pot. It's legal in commie WA. Seattle area has become the elite place of the nation. Median home price is over 700k. I was blessed to barely eke in last year under 300k with a starter home an hour and a half from Seattle in a tiny mountain town. Everything here is stupid expensive. And it's just getting worse. Here are few ads from today:

The DEF requirement, and the perceived poor implementation, is helping driving the demand for trucks w/o DEF. Plenty of people are signing up to sell worn out vehicles for 15K and up.

Yeah it's no joke. I'm on the east side of WA state and it's the same thing. A decent cummins is always worth at least $10,000 minimum here, and that might even be for a 1994 12 valve. Hell my 2005 cummins was $35,000 brand new, and I could sell that baby for $25,000 today, even though Blue book says it's worth like $19,000. Not bad huh, or is it? I don't know anymore, I've just gotten used to the diesel truck prices here.

And yes, they do still make sticks, just not in gasser form.
