Default 95 dodge ram x cab w/5.9 starting problems

Hi Brian here 1st timer, hope someone can help me on this situation? last winter (2017) during the coldest part I went out to start the D it would crank but would not fire up. Figuring I had ice in the fuel pump or fuel line, I pushed it into the car port, wrapped it up in a tarp and put a salamander under to blow heat under the truck to heat it up. After about an hour it started. When it got cold again it would not start , I noticed all of the dash lights came on except the check eng. light . now comes the weird part if I leave the key in the on position, all the dash lights come on except the check eng. light. depending how cold it is summer maybe 1 min. colder the weather the longer( 27 deg.) it took almost an hour you hear the fuel pump relay starting clicking very lightly then gets louder and louder as it gets louder the check eng. light starts blinking the louder it gets the brighter the light gets then then the light stays on, the clicking then stops a short run on the fuel pump then I can start the truck any Ideas ??????? THANKS BRIAN

Loose connection somewhere, might be a bad solder joint IN the PCM.

What part of your heat isn't working? At least it starts and runs now. I think heat would be next on my priority list, it's getting cold out.... (and windy, and threatening snow......)

Sounds like cam position sensor. The parts stores call it the 'pick-up coil'. It sits under the distributor cap.
