95 ram 1500 4x4 5.2 just died now no start
I agree my last dodge ram was a 5 spd so was easier it sucks that my back is shot so getting under there and doing it myself just isn't an option anymore

Ok banging head off wall trying to get at that bolt for the trans. Dip tube everything is in the way!
Short of undoing all cab mounts and jacking cab which I don't have ability to do, or completely hacking my exhaust which I can't afford to do, how can I get at that dang bolt?

I think I got on one toward the center of the truck from above. Took off the air filter housing, put a rag over the throttle body, put a board across from the radiator support, and laid on that while I went after the bolt. The other one, I got from underneath.
got the Allen bolts out but sensor will mot come out past the transmission dipstick tube and while can get socket on it, have no room to turn it my friend is helping me as I can't get under it or lay across engine due to back issues
On mine, once the bolts were out, it just pulled right out. There is a rubber grommet around it, that may have hardened to the point it won't let the sensor move enough to come out. Going after the bolt that hold the dipstick in place is likely what's gonna have to happen. Try coming in from behind the trans, with a long extension, and u-joint.
