1. Just pull your existing hose, drill out the check valve, clean it out really well, and call it a day. Zero cost. (unless it is leaking, then replacement would be a good idea.) Make sure that hose doesn't have the check valve as well......
2. Yes.
3. If you aren't having any odd shifting problems, (once the TV cable is adjusted right) then don't worry about the electronics. However, installing a drain plug wouldn't be a bad idea.....
4. ATF +4, doesn't really matter what label is on the bottle. If it meets the specs for "+4", it'll be fine.

Hey guys! I am working on fixing my output shaft this weekend and ordered new seals and bearings/racers for the front and rear wheels. I figured if I am going to be flushing the differential fluid it should be easy to remove the axle's and do the seals and bearings while I am there. Gear fluid is expensive...

Just wanted to post a picture really quick and ask if this looks like the check valve hose has already been replaced, this is what I have right now:

I have this break pressure bleeder, but the cap on it is designed for a volkswagen. You can remove the cap and the fitting though. I was wondering if anyone possibly knew of a cap similar to the one on this for the 2nd gen dodge I could just hook up to make sure all the air in the line has been removed?

*EDIT*

One last question, I purchased the power steering pressure hose, I am looking at the power steering return host but I have two options. Gear to Cooler or W/O cooler. Not really sure what the difference is because they look exactly the same.

Looks like it was replaced.
You should be able to buy the cap adapter for the brake reservoir for a Ram.

Hey guys... so you know the saying when it rains it pours? Just got let go from my job yesterday and now my truck will not start. I have posted a video of what its doing. I smell gas from the engine compartment. It seems like it wants to fire over. At one point it did but made an awful air leak kind of sound. For some reason the gas peddle is very loose, looking under the dash the round part of the cable sticks out probably about 3 inches but when moving the cable you can see it move on the throttle body. So it does not appear to be damaged. I am at a loss. Battery checked out fine, it started perfectly fine this morning, was parked I was letting it warm up, then just shut off abruptly. No warning, no puttering, just shut off.

Got a scanner you can plug in, and read live data? I would be interested to see what it thinks engine temp is.

Would a standard OBD2 work? I have a Bluetooth one that hooks up to TORQ.

Here is what my scanner is reading. Throttle is reading at 13.3 when the truck is not even firing over. Coolant has not really moved from 118.
