So test the injector pulse in atleast two injectors? When I pulled the injectors out. Fuel was very present and poured out of all ten on the fuel rail. When all these problems started. I went to my mechanic and his fuel guage was pulsating. So he said the fuel pressure regulator is bad. Well that's in the fuel pump assembly. Which I replaced in Oct of 2018. So I took it back and got another entire fuel pump assembly. That seemed to steady the guage at 48-50? I forget which it was? But the guage hit the number and stayed there.
We checked all the plugs and wires. Plus the coil packs. Ended up finding the back spark plug wire sitting on the headers. It wasn't totally burnt. Because it happened when we were testing for vacuum leaks. We mustve hit one of the plug wire hold downs and broke it? They get brittle in that engine compartment.
So really, we have checked almost everything and replaced what we thought was wrong. All EXCEPT whether the fuel is get n into the cylinders past the injectors? The plugs all looked good because they are new in April 2019. So when I get to the truck I will check? Might stop by Napa and grab a cam sensor? What's another $60 at this point? $25 on Rockauto. $55 + uncle Sam's cut on my ripoff on an island!
G7 Computers said they would refund me my $225. But still claims the repaired it?

Camshaft position sensor
So I finally received my new sensor from rockauto.com. Pulled the old one out and took a measurement before installing the new sensor and it's reading 2". The shop manual says DO NOT install new sensor with 2" gap. It MUST be 1.8". Ok, so turn the engine over until it reads 1.8".? I put a 1 1/8 socket on the harmonic balancer and couldn't budge the thing? Used a 1/2 drive craftsman ratchet with a huge wrench for a cheater bar and it still wouldn't budge? Can I turn it over with the key to get to the 1.8" camshaft clearance?
