Default Desperate help needed. Still shift solenoid?

Back in June? or so I posted my 2000 was throwing an 0753 shift solenoid code and was running in limp mode. Running through the manual test by removing the 8pin plug seemed to have mostly fixed it. I guess the connections were getting faulty. But the tranny had gotten worse the past month or so. It seemed to be buzzing that kinda stopped once it was up to speed. The past few days it's gotten quite cold and it started slipping bad until it heated up. Now it doesn't seem to want to go in any gear at all. I'm also not hearing the buzzing.
It's still showing the P0753 and P1740 codes like before. That never changed. Could it still be the shift solenoid and governor/pressure solenoid? I'm really hoping that's still the problem since I can't afford or even find a used 46re and affording a rebuilt is completely out of my ability right now. Anyone?

Have you ever adjusted the bands?

No. I inherited it from my father. He wasn't really big on maintenance either.

Slipping could be the bands needing adjustment. Have you taken the plug off and cleaned it again? I'm not really familiar with them. What does the fluid look like? You need to check the fluid level in neutral on these transmissions. ATF+4 fluid

Do the 'pull the plug' test again. That will tell you if you have an electronics problem, or a mechanical problem. Likely just unplugging the trans, and seeing if you get reverse will be adequate to the task.

I'll try but I suspect it won't work. Here's hoping though.

Tried pulling the plug again. and putting it back on. Still doesn't work. The day it completely let go I was barely able to get it to go into gear using 2nd and tried to go to work. I barely got down the street before it started going out of gear again. I had to keep revving it to try getting it to go back into some gear to get back to the house and it shuddered quite hard at one point and kept slipping bad the whole way back. Now it just won't go into gear at all.
It's still only throwing the P0753 and P1740 codes. Can those solenoids going completely bad keep the trans from going into gear at all? I'm afraid that if I somehow swing getting replacement solenoids that it doesn't fix it because something else is possibly wrong.

Did you try it while the plug was removed?

You have to remove the plug and then drive it. You need to put the lever in the 1 position, accelerate, shift into the 2 position, accelerate, shift into D. As you slow down you manually have to shift again. It's similar to having a manual transmission. If it works like this it's an electric problem. If it still doesn't work you have junk.
