OK, so here’s to the next problem I’ve found, the tv cable seems to be adjusted. Now. Whilst I was under the truck I noticed a small but not tiny leak in fluid. I knew the fluid was low but I kept filling it thinking it may need to just be cycled is why it’s going. No. I’ve almost used a whole quart. Now. The leak SEEMS to be coming from the plug that runs through the transmission housing from the valve body out to a plug. So. After buying more fluid to fix this seal, my trans threw a code. The code is p1757. Which I believe is some sort of governor Solonoid code or some sorts? So now this is just spit balling here because I’m not a mechanic by any means, but since I have a donor sensor, which I know works, and I replace it, and I replace that seal, it should fix my problems right? I feel as if the fluid leaking allows air to get into my transmission? Which I have an idea correct me if I’m wrong but could cause some sort of mess up due to pressure change?

Pressure above 3 PSI at 0 mph..... that's a weird one..... Changing the soleniod *might* address it......

see I’m not sure like I said I was just spitballing. I didn’t know if the leak would cause some sort of change or if the transmission needs to be air tight. So p1757 is the code. Any ideas?

That code is the PCM seeing governor pressure above 3 psi, even though the truck isn't moving. It *should* see approximately 1psi/mph. So, either there is an internal leak somewhere, (most likely the solenoid itself,) or, the pressure sensor is having issues. Have you changed either of them in recent memory?

I swapped the valve bodies out from my old trans? That’s got a different sensor from the original?

would it be cause due to the actual seal leaking outside??? I also read that not only it senses above 3 but below 1 any ideas?

Should be zero if the truck isn't moving.

Nope, gonna be something with the governor stuff, or the valve body itself. The external leak you have is a separate issue.

alright so I’m gonna go grab some gas and my donor parts and see if it’ll fix it. I just can’t completely swap the valve body because I don’t have another one due to my other one breaking. When I go to drop the valve body how do I get it out without the rod hitting the od Housing

Experimentation. I don't have an answer for that one.
