Default Throttle response loss[almost a year]help

So about a year ago I bought a 96 ram 1500 5.9 for a project build ran well but needed work, there has always been this issue of no power around 45-55.press the throttle and almost nothing happens unless you mash it and downshift,it kinda seems like it shifts into overdrive too soon and when your driving in overdrive it's chugging feeling like a slight missfire.its boggled my mind for a year now NOBODY can figure it out, since then I've put a new tranny in it,pulled the motor rebuilt it ,new heads, Hughs engines plenum kit, cleaned everything and painted, including injectors, changed grounds ,installed an intake, header, full exhaust new magnaflow cat.checked all sensors, replaced some, fuel pressure at 45, evening bought a reman pcm and tried it no luck,I'm running out of ideas.maybe I have the death flash and so did my pcm I bought? Any help will be appreciated

Hows the cat? Did you replace the O2 sensors? If so, what brand? Same goes for crank position sensor. These trucks REALLY don't like aftermarket sensors in critical locations.... How thorough was your rebuild?? What intake is on there now? How long since the plenum was repaired? Is that even still an issue? (depends on if you changed the intake, and what you changed it to....)

Well it was happening before I did the rebuild or the plenum,I did the plenum just to do it I've had it apart multiplele times, also put a new magnaflow cat on and unfortunately Bosch o2 sensors before I new but it was doing this with the other o2 sensors in,then I had it straight pipes for a month or so and was still doing it and that's when I installed the complete new exhaust system headers and all,I hear all injectors clicking,I even pulled then and cleaned them no vaccum leaks tps I changed idle air control new crank position sensor and cam/distributor from the dealer

Does it do the same thing if you unplug the front O2 sensor? (that will set codes, but, no biggie.)

Do you have the capability to do data logging? Or just have a decent scanner that will show fuel trims?

That's gonna make it more fun...... Really need to see what the PCM thinks is going on. Otherwise, we are just shootin' in the dark.

I know it's tough I've had it in the shop before to go through everything after I did the tranny swap and rebuild they said everything looks normal, they checked grounds vaccum, had the scanner hooked up but who knows,I've put so much into this build it's frustrating,I know this truck like the back of my hand I had it apart so many times, but now Im at a loss,I rebuilt the engine because it had low compression i thought that was why but guess not compression is good

When I worked in the shops (even a Dodge dealership) techs didn't know a thing about reading data. They would just lol for codes, and then say they "hooked it up too a scanner" to sound smart.
