They make kits for that........ Of course, you need to punch the block out .060.... which means, no more rebuilds on that block.....

Yeah a one and done kind of thing... Still undecided on the heads I'm getting. My heart says Eddie's but my wallet says stock updated casting.

Question becomes: How long do you plan on running this engine?? If it's gonna be in there a while (permanently?) then go for the Good Stuff.

Hopefully not long as it will be swapped for a 408 (could use the Eddie's on that as I don't have heads for it yet) or the Hemi. But I will keep the motor forever as it's the "stock" motor the thing that sucks is I didn't plan on this expense so that means the motor will be down for how long depends on which one

For the converter, I see hughes offers the 'extreme towing' converters for the 46RE, kinda expensive, but, ya get what ya pay for. (under 500 bucks anyway.....)
Have a link to that converter you were talking about?

That's why I couldn't find it! since I'm getting factory heads I am saving a little over a grand so I'll let the tower converter. All the articles I read said aluminum heads are worthless unless you bump up the compression. Plus I can always order them down the road if I feel I need to
