Would like to hear your opinion on how well they sealed up, did they crack, and also any performance increase?
Thanks for your input.
I put similar ones on my '93 GMC with the 350 engine. (Yes, I know it's called a 5.7 but I'm old and stubborn) They sealed pretty well but I put sealant where the Y pipe met them. I did have to cut a short section out of the crosspipe part of the Y pipe as it was too wide. It took an extra 15 minutes or so. I've retightened the header to head bolts once so far but that's fairly common. Everything is pretty close though so you want to put header wrap on it to keep from cooking your plug wires. I even got mine from the same place. They were fairly quick about delivering too.
Based in China.... selling chinese parts. Of course, just about everything is made in china these days.......
Sad, but true......
A little off topic, but for the past 20 years, I have been more involved in racing and mods to corvettes..... That being said, I would always hear the complaints of (corvette tax) overpricing on parts etc. I have to say,, IMO corvette tax is nothing compared to mopar. Not to mention, next to no selection in vendors or manufactures.
Sorry, im just venting.....
BTW in case you have not seen, EQ is no longer manufacturing heads for the magnum.......

Not surprising with all the issues they have been having in recent years. The Indy "X" heads that are very similar are still available. As for the ebay headers i have seen others use them on different forums with no real issues. Just don't expect them to be equivalent to the high priced ones. They claim they are 304 stainless but i wonder.

Thanks for your response. On another site, that deals with A body cars is where I have got a lot of my info.... It seemed the 3 main heads were the EQ, Edelbrock, and now Trickflow. The EQ had mostly been considered the best value for a stock or near stock engine. In fact, some claimed with a cam, and Hughes 1110 springs, that they performed quite well......
I believe the the EQ could be had for $800.00 to $1,300.00 depending on springs, etc. The Edelbrock and Trickflow, are more in the $2,000.00 and up range.
The indy x heads, where do you recommend getting them? What price range? etc.

They probably are 304 stainless, it's just paper thin.

They aren't the thinnest headers I've used but they aren't the thickest either. One thing I noticed was they fit closer to the sides of the engine on the SBC version. They also blued almost as soon as I fired the engine up.
On a related note, I get a digest from my company daily during the week. Most of the articles have to do with the construction industry, but there are some about logisitics where I work. The trend towards Chinesium from the last 20 years is under review as the current Covid crisis has disrupted supply chains. When a production line goes down for lack of supply, it costs big time. We may see more U.S. made parts in the future. No telling how the quality will be though.

Where are you at? That looks suspiciously like Right-Hand drive......
