Have you tried a different relay there?? They are all pretty much the same. Swap it out with the horn relay, see if anything changes.

Horn relay is a micro relay. The ASD an starter relay are the same size as fuel system relay. I've also purchased 2 new 5 pin relays and still doesn't prime or start. Am I just beating myself in the head and it's possibly the fuel pump? It's only a couple months old. I could try tapping it. Otherwise I need to get help I guess to test power. Just reaching here could it possibly be the PCM? Does the fuel pump wiring go from relay to PCM then to fuel pump?

What brand pump did you install? (please don't tell me it was an airtex.....)

If you jumper the relay, will it start?

Lol. No Im pretty sure it's not an Airtex but I would have to look through records to be certain. Are they junk? As far as jumping relay maybe I'm doing it wrong. I pulled relay out of the PDC and took a jumper wire in the #30 and #87 slot on the PDC. Am I doing it wrong? Through research on the internet that's what it looked like I'm supposed to do.

Yep, 30 to 87 and the pump should run regardless of what the key is doing. (pin 30 is always hot) If the pump doesn't run..... hook up your jumper wire, then thump the bottom of the tank a couple times with your fist. Pump start running?

Yes, Airtex are crap. I only recommend them to people that enjoy dropping their gas tank every couple of months.

Also it's a PFI from AutoZone. Not an Airtex. It's lifetime garunteed also if it comes to switching it out again. Thought it would last longer than 2 months. I don't drive it much.

What good is a lifetime warranty if you are back under the truck every few months? Sure, the quality units are spendy, but, look how long the first one lasted. Delphi or Denso for fuel pumps please.

Oh I'm in total agreement with you there. Better yet why not set the system up so the pump isn't in the tank? I'm geez look at injection systems in race cars. Pump isn't in the tank. Just saying.

Yep, and I agree with ya there. Having the pump somplace a bit more accessible would be REALLY nice......

Expensive to switch it all over though..... You would have to keep the truck a LONG time for that to pay for itself.

True. Ok let me ask this. Since I'm by myself and can't crank the vehicle over and not fast enough to get back and check power at pump connection will I have power to the smaller fuel gauge wires constant when key is in on position? I don't have a remote starter switch either to crank engine to see if pump is getting that signal.
