Default Transmission Swap

I have 95 dodge ram 1500 318. I bought a truck that has the 360 and a nv4500 trans. Im swapping the motor and wanting to swap the transmission but what all would i have to do to swap it from auto to manual?

Do i have to swap anything with the transfer case?

Is there a transfer case hanging off the end of the NV4500? If there is, use that one. If it's a 2wd trans, then I don't think it's gonna work......

I think spline count on the output shaft is the same, (assuming both were gas engines) but I think the manual trans t-case had a deeper input 'hub', compared to the auto...... Something to check BEFORE you have it all in the truck.

I have a parts truck for this project so everything should be there to swap and shouldnt be to difficult. Swapping the motor and the trans along with the wiring.

Wiring? Gonna do the whole underhood harness? (probably easiest.....) what year is the donor truck?

1995 same as mine. Mine is a 1995 Dodge 1500 318 5.2. Donor is 95 1500 360 5.9 with a nv4500. Mine has wiring issues so thats why im swapping the wiring through the cab and under the hood.Swapping the motor and trans to my truck
