Yep. Although, if you have a limited slip rear, getting the adjustment right is a bit more difficult......

Hey I noticed that when I stopped sometimes after a few seconds I’d feel a thud coming from the rear not bad or anything but I’m curious if I messed the brakes up or if there adjusting them self’s or something the brakes stop fine and feel good

Same process as the 1500. Fluid choice depends on what you do with the truck. If you regularly tow/haul with it, 75W140 synthetic, if not, then 80/90 is fine. If you have LSD, I think it's four ounces of friction modifier in the rear. The front is open diff, so, doesn't need it. You can use gaskets, or RTV to reseal the cover, or both, if you so choose. (I just use RTV.....)

Oh alright that sounds good to me I’ve rear online that the thump I’m hearing after a few seconds of stopped is gas in the gas tank lol? Sounds weired but that’s what I’ve heard I’m not sure if it’s true or not but I don’t haul to much

Hey heater question I just replaced a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd heater core, thermostat, thermostat housing, water pump, new coolant flushed the system but the heat is still bad any ideas? Seems like there’s a lot of rust in the motor or brown stuff could be gelled coolant maybe I’m not sure but looks like rust it’s had a new radiator not to many years back any ideas how to get the heat to work better it sucks right now

Try back flushing the heater core. See what comes out. If that still doesn't wanna work, pour some radiator flush into the heater core, leave it sit for a while, (or even maybe some CLR?) then back flush it some more.

I flushed the radiator before I put the new heater core and thermostat in but only flushed for about 30 mins while running the engine I know the thermostat was covered in big rust flakes looks like they where stacked on it and when I had everything off I used water and flushed it out for as long until it turned clear both in the radiator and block what’s clr?
