Me to lol do you recommend new drums as well? Do they resurface those?

I got the new shoes on it and caliper thing but I noticed when doing the old jack back end up putting it in reverse then slamming brakes to know the drum loose that my speedo would start climbing up to 30 when I’m not hitting gas how I realized this was I went to put it in park and it tried grinding and looked and was climbing what I did to put it in park was put it in nutral and it stopped and then park but what was wired was rpms wasn’t rising that much

Consider that if you have the truck in gear, on a relatively level surface, it will move in the direction the gear shift indicates, even without stepping on the gas. It may even upshift...

Oh wow I had no idea about that thank you also the new brake drums made a huge e brake difference the now I know my e brake works lights still on but it works now

Hey rooky question but today I was trying to bleed my brakes (started back passenger first then back driver then passenger then driver) but I could not get the brake pedal to firm up at all I could drive it but my foot would almost go to the floor any ideas? Am I doing something wrong

I think after research it’s my rear drums are not adjusted properly
what’s the correct protocol for adjusting rear brakes? I thought they self adjust

Initially you turn the star wheel until there is a slight drag

I seen people spin the drum left and right Is that the way they tell drag by the resistance from the spin?

Correct you spin the drum and out would turn very easily
