I need forged pistons, rods, crank, rings. just everything in the rotating assembly that will fit a 95 dodge 360 magnum.

Even the stock bottom end is pretty stout, any particular reason you want to go with forged? They ain't cheap..... as you have noticed.

I agree unless you are building a high HP motor or tons of boost no reason for forged pistons

Big difference between building a normally aspirated motor, and a blown motor. Pick one, and stick with it, otherwise, you get to spend a bunch of money twice.

Problem with the 5.9 is though, without boost, sure, you can get 400 hp out of it, but, it will all be in the upper RPM range, rendering it pretty much useless as a truck motor. If you want to go with NA, build it for bottom end to mid range torque. You will be much happier with your truck.

Rods you want thicker forged H beam. Pistons you will need pistons designed for boost as the top run is down farther and they are thicker in key areas. Plus heads, studs, crank you will be probably into $3000 for all that. Not including heads
