Ok. Lets go a little deeper.... What's the difference between the heads and intake?. I mean I'm trying to learn something and you guys are over here throwing me scraps lol why wont they match up? What makes them different? Does anyone know if or where I can even buy performance parts for the cast iron V10?

The viper motor was designed by Lamborgini, the truck motor is just a 5.9 magnum with two extra cylinders, and a longer stroke. The only common parts they share would be the spark plug wires. Maybe. Two engines, designed by different teams, for totally different purposes....... It would like trying to bolt ford heads onto a chevy block....

Thing is, you are really limited on just what you can do, simply because of the low engine redline. 4500 RPM? Just not going to get much in the way of horsepower, but, since it's a truck... building for torque? You can easily make it even more of a monster than it already is.

Awesome! I don't feel lile this is hopeless anymore lol I appreciate the quick response and detail. What about a low psi turbo? I'm not building a pulling truck or anything but I would like to get 500 out if it. 450even. Just enough to be a little more impressive on the high end. Or would it be more beneficial to run a supercharger? even if I could procharge it, I am not prejudice to power lol especially in this situation, like you said, the V10 lived an obnoxious, short life. So I will take all ideas into consideration.

Stock from the factory, you are right about 310 hp, 450 lbs/ft torque. Running low boost, say 6-7 psi, would bump those numbers up pretty good, though I think a supercharger may be the better choice...... (no waiting for the turbo to spool up.) You won't get 500 hp out of it, but, 500 tq should be easily doable.
