I really need to get a life. I missed the last sale at Meijers. I tried mail order, but, that just didn't work out very well.

Strangely enough, I actually consider participating here, "Fun". Make me use my brain once in a while. God knows it needs the exercise.

Nice research! I had a feeling that high output alternators that fit into the stock configuration were available for 2nd gen trucks.

and also the fuse in the power distribution center.
There is a limit that you can go to (i believe 150) Anything over that you need to use a different fuse holder. The stock type fuse only will go up to that amount.

If the Little fuse fits her can buy a 250 amp one there

Definitely need to upgrade the wire from the alt, to the PDC.

I forget what amp fuse it was but it tops out at certain amperage and you need to get a different fuse holder/fuse and probably cable also if you plan on going more than that.

I was talking about putting a fuse between the two power wires
