Default Over Heating immediately

99 ram 1500 with the 5.2

OK My truck is over heating and I have nothing left to replace, that I can think of.
it will over head with in mins after staring.

Following has been done.

Water pump

New radiator

Radiator fan/ shroud electronic high quality

Thermostat

Temp sensor

All new coolant

I have burp this over and over I can’t seem to find any more air .

It will over heat just Idling, SO there has to be something, I even put the fan to a switch.

WTF should I do

I feel the head gaskets have went bad! its the only thing I done have any history for.
Great truck needs nothing everything works great but this issue.

Would you do the repair, I'm able but will have to wait to spring.
Or toss the for sale sign in it and walk

I would have a long, hard look at the thermostat. Verify the water pump is turn the correct direction as well. You can test the coolant for the presence of combustion gases to rule out head gaskets.

Did the t stat have a bleeder valve? If not you should have drilled a small hole in it to let the air escape. This is way easier then trying to"burp" the system. You don't have to do anything just fill the radiator. The air will slowly escape and you will see the level drop. Just keep adding until it stops then done. I think there should be sticky on this because this is one of the most asked about problems. See post #14
