Default Parking Brake Light

my parking brake light just showed on the dash and the brake hasnt been used, back brakes worn maybe ?

nope just the parking brake light played with the pedal but nothing pulled on the line under the truck and was good

Did the lite go out? How's the brake pedal feel? Check fluid level as well.

You might have hit the pedal. Especially if it's bad you have to pick up (from the bottom) of the pedal when you pull the release

ya it doesnt seem bad but yes i tried that it seem to release properly but after depressing the pedal should it stay at the floor or come back up to its normal position

ya nope it comes right back up, and then i released it and it sounded like it released properly

Next time try holding the release and picking it up a little with your foot. It coming back up means it has no tension
