I ONLY feel it in OD under 60mph and slower when I accelerate the least bit...under 45mph (in OD) You can forget about ANY acceleration..it will SHAKE VIOLENTLY...now over 60 >< mph & up ..no shake. IT DOES NOT DO IT AT OTHER TIME.

Have a scanner that can read live data? If so, watch the misfire counters while it is doing it's thing.

Yessir, I understand that, but no scanner like that. I hate to buy one just this also. I'm thinking of trading it for smaller truck. 10 mpg is taking all my change even as little bit as I drive. TY for a another option tho. The switch is working well as long as I remember to use it.

You should be able to do better than 10... I think mine was in the neighborhood of 13 or so. My 8.0.... If I break into double digits, I consider myself doing good. But, I don't drive a lot, so, bad gas mileage isn't too much of an issue. (I'm retired, only work part time, and work is only 8 miles away.)

Of late, winters really haven't been that bad. We had one REALLY bad winter about the second year I lived here, (been here 9 years now) which prompted me to buy a snowblower for one of my tractors. We were snowed in for about a week. The drifts over the roads were better than 6 feet tall. No one was going anywhere out here. I think I used it three times since then..... I wasn't even going to bother mounting it this year. I have a 4x4 truck, and the wifes van is AWD, so, unless the snow is REALLY deep, it simply doesn't matter.

Last winter here in Texas was national news. People died, went without water, electric, etc. I'm sure you heard. Don't expect that again tho. Who knows, I'm prepared.
