Yea that is one thing I may consider. May also get remanufactured heads or afyermarket because I'm sure if I pull mine they are going to be cracked. If I do replace the lifter is there anything special I should do when I first start it as like a break in?

Not sure as I've only owned it for a few months. Only reason I heard it in the first place js because I was revving the truck when I was under the hood. I do hear what I think is a slight exhaust tick when driving so maybe they are related. Right now I am running 10w-30 but will be switching to 5w-40 for winter. Also I am almost 100% positive my plenum is leaking because I am using oil pretty quickly. Although some of my using problem is also a decent leak. I am thinking maybe later down the road I tackle the plenum and replace the lifters at the same time.

Going to a lighter weight oil will make lifter noise louder, and increase oil consumption. (with a blown plenum) Stick with the 10W30 oil. Dino, or synthetic doesn't really matter, though, if you are going through oil, dino oil is cheaper. ![Big Grin](https://dodgeforum.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
With north of 200K miles, oil consumption doesn't really come as a surprise.
