Default New fuel pump not working

I have a 95 1500 5.2L that sat for over two years now I am trying to get her back on the road. First I found the fuel pump was not kicking on after installing a new battery. I dropped the tank, drained the fuel, and installed a new pump but I am still not getting fuel. I did use a gauge to confirm this and I also checked the relay and fuse. I don't think its clogged since i can here the pump running at all so i would assume an issue with the electric. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks, Jeff

Would that be "Can't hear the pump running at all"??

Verify you see power back at the pump for a few seconds at initial key on. Gonna need two people for that.

Do you have a test light or a power probe? I would check for power at the pump and also check the big connector under the cab on the driver side frame rail, next the front wheel. Also make sure you do have any bend pins. The fuel pump relay should be in the PDC. AKA big fuse box under the hood. You may also have a 2nd fuse box on the end of the dash on the driver side.

I need to go buy a test light but I did find out the pump does run when the relay is jumped out. The truck still wont fire even though its getting fuel so now I am thinking ignition coil?

Nope, if the PCM isn't turning on the pump, it likely isn't turning on the ASD relay either. It *should* energize both for a few seconds at initial key-on. Is it?

Test for power at the coil at initial key on. Should see power for a few seconds there. Then nothin' till the PCM sees the engine turning. If you aren't getting that.... Then something else is wrong.
