My 99 is the opposite as yours but it doesn't really matter. As long as you have ventilation, you're fine.

oh ok.. i wasnt 100% sure.. and is that one going in the airbox from the valve cover. . is that just a straight elbow?

i was told to change the pcv valve sinec my oil pan at the front U shapped part blew out big rip.. but when i changed the the pcv valve it still moved but wanted to double check things

i thought maybe its supposed to have 2 pcv valves etc

WHAT??? Please be clearer and use better spelling/grammar.
Either side needs one (1) PCV valve (Mopar are best) and the other is an open breather elbow (parts stores have them) connected to the air box.

PCV switched sides several times over the course of second gen production. There is no "Wrong" side, so long as one side can get clean fresh air, and the other side with the PCV valve goes to a good vacuum source, the system works as it should.

I just had the airbox off a 2000 MY to replace t-stat and I also noticed PCV had moved the driver side

Adding my 3 cents worth...just add an oil catch can to the pcv line. You'll be surprised how much longer you can go without cleaning the throttle body or IAC.

Isn't it weird then that the large hose from the breather goes to the dirty side of the air box? Nothing clean about the air on the lower half of the air box.
