Yep. Just unplug 'em, see what happens. Rear O2 sensors aren't overly important, the front one are though... The engine will still run, but, your gas mileage will suck. (even worse than normal....)

If you watch South Main Auto he proves that the rear O2 sensor does control some of the fuel trims. Not much but I like getting information out there

On what model year? I know newer stuff (I'll say 2011+ but that's very ballpark) might use rear O2's for mixture, but I'm not convinced the 2nd Gen Rams did.

I'm a fan of SMA but haven't seen this one, do you have a link?

Is there a list somewhere of all of the sensors that live on the 5 volt bus that can be shared?

All of the O2 sensors. Anywhere from one on OBDI trucks, to possible four on OBDII trucks.
Map
Throttle position.
IAT
ECT
I don't recall if the trucks with EGR have an EGT sensor or not.... (my firebird did... but, I haven't owned a second gen that actually still had EGR.)
Crank position sensor.
Cam position sensor.

I can't think of any more just at the moment.

Thanks. Great starter list. If anyone can add any additional items, perhaps this might be a good list for a sticky thread to help folks with troubleshooting issues.

Well, Its back and I unplugged the O2 Sensors and nothing changed. However I had oreillys do the battery test on my truck and it came back as bad. I will be picking up the new battery tomorrow, but could the bad battery be the cause of no bus? I'm out of ideas as to what it could be, and i hope the new battery will solve this

It's possible, but, not guaranteed.
