Default Shifting Funny

My 2001 Ram 2500 Diesel has 80k miles. I just realized that it had been 2006 since the last transmission service. It had started shifting oddly so I took it to AAMCO and the flushed and changed the fluid and filter. However, still doing it. At around 40-48 mph it shifts rapidly up and down. Slower or faster it's OK. Should I try an additve? Is this and indication of internal failure? Old fluid was dirty, but no evidence of particles in it or the old filter. Appreciate all help.

No additives thankyouverymuch. Is the tach just bouncing about 200RPM or so? If so, replace the throttle position sensor.

Mine did the hang up between 2 and 3 and at 45 it would go back and forth. Simple tv cable adjustment cured that but I have a 1500 gas with a 46re trans

The TV linkage ect should be about the same as gasser set up

If you have a DVM check the batteries with the truck running for AC voltage, if there's anything significant, say over .1 ACV I would suggest an alternator replacement, don't have it tested, its probably charging just fine and will pass a bench test, but it has a leaking diode letting AC voltage into the electrical system causing erratic sensor readings, in result poor shifting

Default Tsp

I replaced the TSP with no change. One shop I talked to said it sounds like the torque converter. I just had the fluid flushed at AAMCO and it didn't do this on the test drive before or after. They said no sign of particulates in the old fluid. Ideas?

At around 40-48 mph it shifts rapidly up and down.
Around 45 it will go into OD, Is it OD or lock up? Lock up will be about 200 rpm difference.

Default OD

Doesn't do it if locked out of overdrive. RPN fluctuation is about 200-300 rpm.

Default AC Voltage

On my digital volt meter 200 setting it reads 2.99 to 3.0. Too Much?
