It’s running after replacing fuel pump. Idles rough and doesn’t have much power. Put 5 gallons in the tank and injector cleaner seem to get better the more I putted around. I haven’t checked the pressure at the fuel rail. What else should I be checking. Also I noticed the throttle body says holley. Did these trucks come stock with that or was it added later?

Holley was stock, It's been sitting 10 years time to replace the cap rotor plugs and wires would be a start.

Replaced wires plugs cap and rotor to today. Definitely more responsive. Still idling like crap. Not sure if it is missing or a bad exhaust leak. Going to air the tires up and run down the road to get fuel in it tomorrow. Just been running it around the field at the house.

Is the check engine light on? If so, do you have a code reader to tell what any pending or stored codes might be?

Finally got it out on the road. It did throw a check engine light and the abs and brake light are on. My Bluetooth OBD reader isn’t working with it. Going to get one this afternoon. First initial shift was rough. After that it shifted out good. Around 45-50 it shakes like hell. Let off the gas it stops. Assuming I got some front end work to do. And tires. Definitely got an exhaust leak. Also had a vacuum leak. The small line under air box that connects to the tb was basically gone.

Code I got is 02 circuit high voltage. Didn’t read anything on the abs/brake lights.

Need a fairly high zoot scanner to talk to ABS/SRS...

The shake at around 45 is a misfire. Trans engages TCC, and O/D right about 42 mph, and if you have a miss, it shows up in spades. Should be getting misfire codes though....

I’ll put the scanner back on it but after 10+ years all it showed was the 02 sensor. I drove it about 30 miles today and. 15 or more of them was to get windshield wipers and the shake around 50 kinda disappeared. It just has a front end vibration constantly. What parts should
i start with first.I feel like there has got to be a misfire after the gas sat in the fuel rail for so long. Hate to replace all injectors but may be the best option.. I did blow the fuel line from where it connects to the fuel rail back to the pump before hooking the new pump up.

Likely wouldn't hurt to pull the fuel rail, and clean that out as well.....

If your scanner will do it, check pending codes as well.

Drove it down the highway today. No issues other than a lot of squeaking and front end vibration. Pretty sure the front coils are shot. Bounces pretty good. I’m sure the ball joints and everything else on the front end needs to be replaced. Cleared the 02 sensor code. Hasn’t came back in but only ran it long enough to charge the ac system back up. I guess I need to replace the front end components, front coils and rear shocks. Last inspection sticker was 2011. Last time it was tagged was 2013. I got it around 70moh today. Is 1800-1900 rpm normal on the 318 2wd at 70? The catalytic convertor as a pretty good leak but I’m gonna get that all replaced. Would like to completely delete the cat and be done with it. Also the brake and abs light is on. My scanner says it can’t connect when I go to abs mode. May have to actually let auto zone or someone check that one for me. I also installed a set of 265/75r16 big k02’s. A local used tire shop had a good set for a really good deal. Half the price of a new set of no name tires. Not sure what he was trying to do with the catalytic convertor but I had to post a pic of it.
