they are not, replaced the camshaft pod sensor and distributor cap rotor, still no spark at coil when I test it.

You tested this while cranking the motor correct? Should not be constant.
I am getting a constant dim light, test light to negative wire that plugs into ignition coil, alligator clip connected to pos battery terminal.

Unplug it from both ends, test continuity of the wire itself, and also continuity to ground.

also if you haven't done it already, checking the resistance of the primary and secondary winding on the coil can be done to verify the coil itself is still good. There are resistance specs for the coil windings in the manual somewhere, presumably.

Have checked spark coming out of the coil? Maybe the problem lies in the wire going to the distributor? Had a similar problem that ended up being the pick up coil under the distributor cap and rotor.

That should mean the wire is good...... Though the infinite resistance in your pic of the meter might be a problem? Or is that just to show the settings on the meter, and not the actual reading?

Test from the wire (either end) to ground as well. (unhooked on both ends) See what ya get.
