No I haven’t checked yet but it smells like gas when it starts to do that.

Default Update

So I changed out the plenum play gasket and all that came with the kit and it seems to be running much better. I also changed out the alternator battery steering box and alternator fuse (it blew when I was booking everything up). Next step is the transmission bands I’m thinking I might just try to change them out unless it would be better to just try to tighten them first. It shifts hard sometimes and takes a while for it to really get going from stopping.

Fix the misfires, and it should have better power out of the hole again. If that's a gas V-8, have you fixed the plenum? That will also destroy power below about 3K RPM. If it's high mileage, changing the timing chain/gears wouldn't hurt either. (double roller set please.)

Try and adjust the bands first, and also make sure the TV cable operates properly, and is adjusted right.

Default New codes

Misfires in cylinder 1/2 random misfire Governor pressures solenoid conditions and torque converter solenoid. When I start it in the morning I have to give it gas to keep it running but after a little while of driving it stabilizes. Not sure what’s going on there.

Default Hmmm

I’m not sure of the brand but maybe I should do a tune up on it after the other issues.
