Inlet for the egr tube from the passenger side exhaust manifold. If your truck is 96 or newer, it won't have EGR, and there will be a block-off plate where the valve is supposed to be. Nothin' goes there in that case.

Default Different truck.

This is for a 96 5.9. My buddy is wondering what exactly it is.

My 96 was the same way. It seems that Dodge had some leftover EGR manifolds they wanted to use up, as opposed to just scrapping them.

Default Still

So I changed the plenum plate and gasket however it sent like it’s burning more oil now then before. I torqued everything in accordance with the specs and all but it’s going through about a quart a month. Any advice?
