What brand crank sensor? Does it rough idle immediately at cold startup? Or does it take a couple minutes for it to show up?

I wished I could answer that but don't remember. I'm pretty sure I bought it from NAPA. The light rough idle immediately from start up. you feel it more during cold, then idles down to around 5-600 rpm range. The misfire seems to be random when driving or not enough to feel all the time. It did improve after spark plug change. I will try to get some pictures of those today. They look ok to me but had new ones so why not? lol

Your misfires might be from your aftermarket crank sensor. These trucks are notorious for not really liking aftermarket sensors in critical locations. Crank sensor being right at the top of the list.... I think the first thing I would recommend is getting a genuine Mopar crank sensor.... I know, they ain't exactly cheap, and are a pain to change.....

I found this on eBay. Claims to be Genuine Mopar Part way below what I have seen in price. I will post a link for you to look at. Thanks. It's a pain to change but If it fixes this. I will more than happy to do it.

Wow, sure looks like a genuine part... and dirt cheap too. Real curious how he gets away with that. Wonder if he bought out someones inventory.

From the amount available, I would guess maybe bulk buy? I went ahead and ordered it. Worth trying a new one.

You might want to test the coil and see if it's in spec. You measure the resistance across the terminals. Don't know what the readings are supposed to be off the top of my head but they are in the service manual.

I forgot to say that it was replaced. I knew it was the original part so just figured why not replace it with a new one.
