I mean at this point it’s the easiest thing to do, I’ve ruled out all other options. If i chase this wire into my body harness and find the cut. It would of just been easier to run a new wire

Be sure and use the same gauge/style of wire as the original.
Check continuity of each wire and find where the problem is. Then just replace that section. Having insulation piercing leads are a must for doing this.
Never seen a tool like this….since i know these two pesky wires follow the frame and go up towards the fender, i can start by opening the looms that have easier access and see if they have these wires.
Thank u for showing me this tool it will definitely help me rather than making my own piercing and possibly causing issue
I couldn’t wait to order the tool so i made something similar, i have found where the wires drop voltage, it was a thin peice that was fluctuating between 2-4v. I made a new connection and now i have 4.82 all the way to my connector.
I jacked up the rear end and let the tires spin freely in drive, nothing on the speedometer or on the Code reader while i had it showing live data….could it be my ground wire?
Only two wires back there matter. 5 volt feed, and signal return. The sensor generates a 'tone'. The frequency of that tone tells the PCM how fast you are going. If you are getting power TO the sensor, then the sensor return wire is the problem. Or, the PCM itself....
